March 2026
It’s the 1st March 2026 the first day of Spring and we’re so ready for it! Are you ready to create your Spring stash of stylish, thoughtfully designed baby clothes?
This lovely bundle went out last week. There’s nothing like a Littleleaf organic cotton sleepsuit to pop on under one of our cosy baby sleep bags! Each sleepsuit has a unique all over print and several features designed for easy wear and nappy changes, and made in soft 100% GOTS certified organic cotton. Our baby sleeping bags are so popular, and you can rent them for six months at a time, which works out at just £1.42 a month!

And did you know we don’t even charge for stains – ever! Stains are the biggest worry for parents who rent our baby clothes! But honestly you don’t need to worry! We know babies are messy and with a little care and attention we can tease those pesky stains out. So go ahead give renting a try – worry free!
February 2026
What a difference 5 and a half years makes! When we launched Qookeee in July 2020 there were just four other baby clothes rental companies in the UK. Each of us had different models and offered the customer an alternative to buying and throwing away baby clothes. Covid had hit earlier in the year, but we still kept going, strong in our belief that offering baby clothes to rent was a better alternative than the buy and throw away model that the fashion industry was built on.
Fast forward to February 2026. Three of those rental companies have closed for various reasons and the fourth has switched to selling second hand.
We’re proud to still be here doing what we believe in. We’re also incredibly proud of those dynamic woman led businesses who dared to venture into new territory, for paving the way and showing the fashion industry a different way to grow. Thank you Bundlee, Graceful Changes, Belles & Babes, The Littleloop.
We plan to keep offering you high quality baby clothes to rent as we really believe our concept is better for the environment than buying clothes. If you’re familiar with our rental model you’ll know that we source brands that care about the planet and develop their collections with fabrics that have less impact on the environment compared to conventional fabrics. Find out more about how to rent from Qookeee, it really is simple and we don’t ever charge for stains! And if you register first we’ll email you a discount code for your first order.
January 2026
So we finally got round to visiting the first brand we partnered with, Kite Kids, who’s head office is very near our new HQ in Dorset. It was such a delight to meet the team and see their set up first hand. It was also an opportunity to see their gorgeous AW26 range – look out for pieces to rent from the range later this year! I later realised that their founder, was someone who’s path I had crossed when we both worked for the same fashion retailer, and we had actually left that retailer in the same year. It’s fantastic to see how she has built her business, now in its 18th year, using her knowledge of the fashion industry to offer a sustainable range of GOTS certified organic baby and kids clothes. Getting certified to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) isn’t easy and we’re proud to support brands that are.
We’re expecting new styles from our brand partners SS26 range in the next couple of months and hope you’ll as delighted as we are when they arrive.
July 2025
We’ve been busy recently relocating our circular baby closet down to the lovely South Coast and escaping the hustle and bustle of London SW19. It’s a great place and filling up now with holiday makers enjoying the pretty villages and country pubs as well as the beautiful Dorset coastline and all the activities it has to offer.
And one of our favourite sustainable brands, Kite Clothing, are literally down the road from us!

It’s been a hot one so far this summer with three heat waves already here in the UK, although it’s becoming unpredictable now with showers and heavy rain crossing the country. And how expensive is it to buy seasonal summer baby clothes, when the seasons are so variable! But there’s no need to splash out for clothes you don’t need for long.
Head over to our holiday shop to browse our lovely summer collection. Be sure to take a look at our baby swimwear. Remember not all swimwear’s created equal! Look for swimwear with UPF +50 if you’re using an outdoor pool or at the beach. Clothes for indoor pools in swimming baths don’t need the same amount of protection as for outdoors. So please do check and always use a sunscreen outside. For more information on what to consider please check out our guide here.
Just a quick mention on our thoughts about the rise of second hand clothes. A recent article by the BBC mentioned that people were using charity shops like bins! They are not considering the condition of the clothes. This is so frustrating for charity shops as nasties in the clothes, and their poor condition make them impossible to sell. Charities are left with more costs to dispose of them. Second hand shouldn’t be second rate, but most parents just don’t have the time to look after their baby’s clothes.
A stain may need to be treated, one or more times before it’s removed, and repairs take time. Let’s face it if your baby isn’t going to wear the clothes again, you’re unlikely to bother cleaning or repairing the clothes. That’s why we believe renting baby clothes is better than second hand. Our clothes are clean, and presented beautifully, and they’re beautiful clothes too. We work really, really hard to keep them in the best condition, so we can keep them in circulation longer and out of landfill. If you haven’t tried renting yet, please give it a try. And if you register first we’ll email you 10% off your first order.
